Compassion Arise is a non-profit organization in Santa Rosa, California that reaches out to youth in need of compassion, love and a home. We house teens who are in the foster system or who are alone and just "need a chance". We also are making plans to open homes for youth who are emancipating out of the foster care system and who need housing and support as they begin to move into living independently. Although our focus is teens, we have also brought in babies when the opportunity arises. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. Luke 6:36  |
Compassion Arise was formed in the hearts of Jeff and Kathi Pelton to be a place of compassion and hope for the hopeless. It is their goal to connect those with a desperate cry for help with those who can help. Their dream is to see the lonely placed in families, the brokenhearted healed, the hungry fed and the lost saved. Partnered with their local team, Light Streams Ministries, they want to see lives changed, hope restored and dreams fulfilled through community efforts, creative ideas and by networking with other compassion organizations.
