Restoration Ranch Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide teens moving from adolescence to adulthood (ages 17-24) that are either transitioning out (aging out) of the foster care system or are from broken/dysfunctional homes/families, with the support that they need to become healthy and successful young men.   We provide housing, family support, educational/vocational support/mentoring, emotional and mental support/healing, and physical/nutritional support.

Our program and ranch will provide the teens with the nurturing that they need during these crucial years.  They will be provided with opportunities to explore their dreams, they will be mentored by community workers and volunteers who are qualified to work with us, they will to learn new things, experience new aspects of life, become a part of a family that honors and respects one another and have the safety of a place to call home.

This programmed is designed to break dysfunctional family cycles that tend to follow many young men into their adult years that keep the cycle going.  It is also designed to restore joy, dignity, honor and self-worth to these young men.  They will receive life skills that are essential to their success as adults but not without the love and nurturing that they need to heal from their harmful childhood experiences.  They will learn to become independent while at the same time having room to play and grow without the pressures of being fully self-dependent. They will also learn healthy dependency without being co-depended and learn how to function as a part of a family or of a team.

Restoration Ranch will be a home for teens and young adults that, without us, might be found sleeping in their cars, on their friend’s sofas, in homeless shelters or on the street.  Here they will transition from adolescence to adulthood with all of the support and nurturing that they need to become healthy, thriving, independent adults.

We are partnered with established organizations the are changing the lives of youth here in California such as The Teen Project www.theteenproject.com and Social Avocates for Youth (SAY) www.socialadvocatesforyouth.org

We are in the process of partnering with many other organizations that will come alongside of us to provide a greater and more diverse amount of resources for our youth.
